Transport Planner. Role Type: Permanent Full Time. Location: Monaghan. My client a well established National and International transport company, they are seeking to hire an experienced Transport Planner to join their company in the north Monahan area. This role is also commutable from parts of Cavan, Louth and Armagh. This is an excellent opportunity for a well organised and clued in transport planner that is sharp and enjoys working in an intense and busy environment. Duties/responsibilities. Inputting orders onto transport management systems. Coordination of transport operations. Compliance with site agreements, health and safety standards. Updating drivers and ensuring all drivers are aware of locations and drop off points. Booking ferries. Any other associated duties as required. The successful candidate may potentially be on a shift roster flexibility is required across Mon to sat with some on call work rostered at the weekends ( 1 in 4 weekends. Requirements. Minimum 2 years in transport planning. Proficient in managing transport operations. Knowledge of RSA regulations pertaining to haulage industry. Excellent computer skills.
