The Role. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Retail Manager / Buyer looking to join a large Department Store where you will be given the autonomy to increase profit through product sourcing, selection, negotiating and planning. Responsibilities. Sourcing, selecting, negotiating and planning the Toy offering for the Department Store. Liaise and build strong relationships with the Distributors and Wholesalers. Analyse sales reports, category analysis and linear footage. Manage and plan your event calendar in accordance with your product launches. Provide product knowledge for your entire team on product and time lines. Supporting the Store Manager with the overall management of the department. Driving sales and service through excellent product knowledge. Ensure store standards are delivered at all times through careful product placement and planning. Liaise with Store Manager and General Department Store Management regularly on trade reports. Inspire, motivate and coach a team of sales consultant through consistent briefs. Experience required for this job include. 2-3 years Retail Management experience. Buying, selecting and negotiating experience essential. Commercial Management experience. Strong man management skills. Analytical experience. Apply.
