Maintenance Fitter. Role Type: Permanent. Role Location: Monaghan. I am working with a client in the Monaghan area to secure a mechanical fitter/maintenance technician for a permanent position in a clean food production environment. This is a day role shift, early and late shift but you will be working no later than 7pm at night Monday to Friday Weekend call outs will be required on a rostered basis - one in 4 and a call out allowance is payable. We are seeking candidates that have the following experience; Experience with pumps, valves, pneumatics, hydraulics, solenoids, preferably in a food manufacturing environment. Experience with boilers, compressors, refrigeration plants preferably in a food manufacturing industry is desirable. Electrical maintenance experience would be a distinct advantage. Carry out routine preventive maintenance of plant equipment / machines and facilities. Monitors / assist operators in plant equipment. Troubleshoot and repairs all mechanical breakdown of equipment and machines. Completion of reactive repairs ensuring minimal down time. Ability to prioritise reactive tasks in order of urgency and impact to business. Proactive in familiarising themselves with new machinery/equipment. Completion of paperwork including work orders and service reports. Problem solving ensuring a solution for all required tasks in a timely manner. This job originally appeared on RecruitIreland.com.
