Maintenance Fitter. Role Type: Permanent. Location: Monaghan. I am working with a client in the Monaghan area to secure a maintenance fitter for a permanent position. This is a day role shift, early and late shift but you will be working no later than 10pm at night. Weekend call outs will be required on a rostered basis so not every weekend. We are seeking candidates that have the following experience; Experience in pumps inc APV and transformers Waukesha and SPX systems. Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, valves and gearboxes, preferably in a food manufacturing industry. Maintenance of food industry equipment; engines, motors, conveyor systems and production equipment. Carry out routine preventive maintenance of plant equipment / machineries and facilities. Monitors / assist operators in plant equipment such as effluent, pasteurisers and homogenisers. Troubleshoot and repairs all mechanical breakdown of equipment and machines, Completion of reactive repairs ensuring minimal down time. Ability to prioritise reactive tasks in order of urgency and impact to business. Proactive in familiarising themselves with new machinery/equipment. Completion of paperwork including work orders and service reports. Electrical understanding & experience is advantageous.
