Project Manager. This irish company employs several thousand people across Europe & is keen to find someone to manage some of its key projects. Reporting to the CEO you will work with the commercial team developing technical solutions with cross functional team. You will have: - Strong project mgt. with responsibility for initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling & closure of projects from R&D to full commercialisation. *Ability to challenge & develop strategies to commercialise projects & to build business. *Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope & within budget. *Measurement of project performance using appropriate systems, tools & techniques. *Assessment & control of risk & mitigation of same. Role Deliverables: Contribute to the development of the project mgt. system & ensure compliance with this. Take full responsibility for execution of assigned projects. Planning & defining projects with customers & mgt. using a change control process. Planning, mgt. & reporting of normal project elements including: WBS / Critical path monitoring & developing. Resource Planning; developing schedules & time estimation. Budget dev't & cost estimation. Risk / Issue Analysis & Mgt. Monitoring & Reporting Progress. Team Leadership & development; learning via feedback of experience. Strategic Influencing - development of stakeholders for each project & for risk mgt. Business Partnering, supplier negotiation & development of negotiation strategies. Competencies to perform the role: Leadership Skills ensuring employee motivation, team development, conflict resolution & decision making. Time Mgt.: To work with team members, customers & mgt. *Financial & Budgeting: Proven skills in developing & maintaining budgets. *Analytical Skills: solve problems via analysing data & making decisions accordingly. *Process Driven: Develop, implement, replicate & improve processes to manage increasing scale. *Commercial Awareness: Understand business sectors; customers; competitors & challenges. *Independence: Develop clear insight on project decisions & justify. Experience & Qualifications. Formal project mgt. qualification/ certification (PRINCE 2; PMP. BSc in science (preferably food/ horticulture/ agriculture/ biotechnology. Experience. 5 years in project mgt. & ability to demonstrate success. Experience in development of project mgt. in food/ agritech/biotech. The use of project mgt. software, such as Ms Project. Proven track record in having commercialised a product/process through mgt. of a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent client-facing & internal communication skills. Solid organisational skills including attention to detail & multi-tasking skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. An excellent salary and benefits are on offer.
