Packing Production Manager. This position is key within the business & an integral part of maintaining high operational stds, to meet customer orders & expectations. With a focus on effective mgt & Continuous Improvement of the team & budgetary control, this position requires a confident, motivated individual who has a passion for leading people & achieving success. You will work to achieve high product quality levels, strategic objectives, & consistently high level of performance. A experienced production mgt individual, with Continuous Improvement exposure preferably from a perishable FMCG environment. A confident, performance driven person with financial awareness. Role Deliverables: Drive all KPI's in Productivity, Quality, Labour,Stock, H&S & HR. Oversee a workforce of 100 employees in a manufacturing department. Create schedules to ensure optimum staffing levels. Set ambitious production goals & communicate them to key personnel. Lead, motivate, develop & manage the production department. Ensure staff training & dev. in place to continually improve work performance. Ensure there is recruitment & on-boarding process in place. Strive to maximise productivity across all production lines. Ensure Preventative Maintenance & minimum downtime. Optimise Inventory Control by maintaining stock levels & ensuring customer demands are consistently achieved. Continually evaluate suppliers. Ensure work activities achieve & exceed customer expectations. Ensure supply meets demand; address slippage so customer not impacted. Company Food Safety Policy & all legal & customer requirement met. Ensure accurate audit trails & records are in place. Ensure H&S Policy is adhered to. You will be able to: Build Teams - value & reward teams. Manage Performance - Define strategic & operational goals & business plan. Develop team in line with future needs; prioritise training & development. Lead Change - improve process & strive for continuous improvement. Provides direct & timely feedback; challenge poor processes. Challenge commercially all activity & effect on Profit & Loss, Cash Flow & Balance Sheet. Customer Focus - action customer feedback. Iinput to strategic decisions & processes. Plan & Organise - develop business plan to deliver strategic programmes of work. Communication - Build culture of two way communication to create energy & enthusiasm. Experience & Qualifications. Minimum of 5 years' exp a managerial role in FMCG. Ideally a qualification in Lean manufacturing. Great communication, organisational & planning skills. Work effectively, with multiple projects, shifting priorities, & deadlines.
