Health and Safety Officers. Role Location: Monaghan. This position will monitor and report on our client's Smart Metering Installations, ensuring that the company are fully compliant with all Health & Safety and. Technical regulations. Option to work from home 1-2 days per week after 6 months. We are seeking to hire conscientious qualified Health & Safety Officers / Auditors / Electricians (with relevant qualifications. This is an excellent role for a qualified Health & Safety Officer, Auditor or Electrician with the relevant qualifications to join an industry leading company, where you will receive first class training and the opportunity to develop your career, increase your earnings and progress within the company. In this position, you will be working from home, provided with a company vehicle for business use, tools, fuel card, PPE, uniform, laptop / tablet and mobile phone. Key Responsibilities: Make sure customers supply is in safe working order upon completion of installations. Conduct field audits across all smart Metering project. Post auditing. Participate in office, warehouse and yard auditing. Vehicle check auditing. Tool & PPE auditing. Reporting of findings/conclusions to line manager. Carry out remedial actions on findings identified in audits. Incident investigation. Assessment of new engineers' competency. Be a point of contact for dealing with accidents or incidents. You may be asked to conduct appraisals, disciplinary, tool box talks and return to work interviews, where necessary. Pick-up and drop-off of used and new meters to designated locations. Adhere to all business and industry health and safety procedures. Complete and keep up-to-date all company paperwork/online forms in line with the role. Complete all mandatory training. Any other duties may be requested. Required Experience. The candidates we are looking for should ideally be from a domestic electrical background, with previous experience in conducting Audits. As well as excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a virtual team environment in the field we also need several additional technical skills: Qualifications: Applicants must have a good standard of education. Junior Cert / Leaving Cert (level 4 or 5), / GCSE in Maths & English. Fully qualified electrician with 5 years recent & relevant experience. 3rd Level qualification or equivalent in Health & Safety at work. Health & Safety investigation experience is desirable. Safe Pass / ECS card and Testing & Inspection are desirable. The job requires a considerable degree of commitment, flexibility and adaptability on the part of the jobholder to meet work deadlines.
