A Fantastic Opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join this beautiful hotel in Co. Monaghan with a busy F&B department. Candidates must have previous experience in a similar role or an experienced Duty Manager or Restaurant Manager with 2/3 years' experience that wants to climb the management ladder. This is not an ordinary hotel but is well known for its luxury, setting, high standard of food and service. This role is based 5/7 days with a mix of early and lates. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day to day floor operations of the F&B Business. Manage the delivery of the services in the Restaurant, Bar & Banqueting. Deliver exceptional standards for all customer expectations. Ensure that all F&B employees receive induction, hygiene, health and safety and fire training to the company standard. Flexible in assisting in the unit and other areas within the divisional team in response to business and customer needs and at major events. Give full co-operation to any colleague requiring assistance in prompt, caring and helpful manner. Strive in the achievement of total customer satisfaction. To support the F&B Manager & Operations Manager , in the effective liaison with customers and F&B Team to ensure clear communications of each parties needs and expectations. Act as Duty Manager on a rotational basis, as a key holder when required. Lead by example and ensure members of the team wear the correct, full and clean uniform whilst on duty. Actively address all issues relation to non-adherence of company standards. Actively up sell each request to maximise revenue and profitability. Maximise the sales opportunities that occur within the planning and operational stages of the functions and events. Implement higher standards and procedures. Weekly/Monthly reporting. As an Assistant F&B Manager: You will be passionate about delivering a first class guest experience while maintaining a personable approach. You will be involved in training your team on an ongoing basis. Know the market, competitors and what trends are working. Act as deputy to the F&B Manager when required. What we look for: Drive and focus. Has a personal touch and is the face to the place. Previous experience of a similar role, Head of Departments at 4*/5* Level. Creative and inspiring leadership / supervisory management. A proven track record in supervising/managing F&B and C&B Operations. A passion for excellence.
